Got a smaller trailer? Need to position the vehicle further forward than the Quick Cradle - Front Longs allow at their 48" length? You are in luck; these are the Quick Cradle - Front Shorts. Based off our Quick Cradle - Front Longs solution, we have shortened the length to 27" from the Longs 48". This shortening of Cradle length will allow you to position the Cradles further forward on your trailer, allowing for more weight on the tongue and axel for proper weight distribution while towing. The Quick Cradle - Front Shorts are ideal for any open wheeled or lifted vehicle where the front approach and fender clearances allow for strap ratchets to be operated from directly on the wheel. Atvs, SxS, Dirt Track Modifieds, Sprint Cars, Indy Car, Jeep Wranglers, Trucks, etc. Confirm your vehicle's front approach and fender clearances, you will need about 6 to 7 inches between them and your wheel to operate a strap ratchet in tightening your straps.

Max Load weight - 5000lbs per pair of Quick Cradle Fronts, with appropriately weight rated straps. The rear of the vehicle being hauled must be secured, via appropriately weight rated straps, in addition to the Quick Cradle Fronts in line with standard towing safety procedures. Ratch Straps not included. Use an appropriately weight rated strap in relation to the weight of your cargo load.
Direct to Trailer Fastening hardware not included. The purchaser is responsible for the installation of the assembled Cradles to their trailer.
Mounting fasteners are available at any hardware store in various lengths.
We recommend a minimum of six 1/2"-13 grade 5 or 8 Hex bolts, lock washers, and nuts be used per Cradle. A total of 12 bolts, 12 washers, and 12 nuts total per pair of Quick Cradle Fronts and Rears to be mounted.
In selecting your trailer mounting bolt's length, consider the thickness of your trailer top, 3/16" for the Cradles, and any obstructions under the trailer's top that the bolts may need to go through. Bolts must go all the way through the nuts used and should have at least 1/8" excess length coming out of the nut once tightened down.
